A little about me. . .
I live in New York City with my sweet and genteel artist/producer husband Tony in what we call our ‘treehouse in the sky.’
I created Ninatchka.com because I wanted a place to share what’s on my mind – my obsession with strong visual content and smart, good-looking design, my love of film, my thoughts about, well. . .stuff and my desire to speak with artists and artisans about their work and life. Because this is a crazy, challenging, joyful life – beauty and connection are everywhere – and it’s up to us to discover it and experience it and pass it on.
Each Ninatchka piece will be presented in the format that best allows its story to be told. Some will be written, others will be audio interviews, all will include the things I believe in most: passion and humor and optimism and curiosity and generosity and kindness and courageous thinking. I hope that my work here inspires you to live with the same kind of jambalaya and more.
If you’d like greater insight into my life and background the Martin Luther King Jr. post I wrote last year is an inside view about how I was raised.
I’d really like to thank my family and friends: Tony, Alicia. Amy, Emily, Holly, Jacqui, Lynn, Marybeth, and Suzy. They have continually encouraged and helped me with this project. I would not have been able to create this site, or enjoy it’s surprising success without their great ideas and words of wisdom and support.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to drop me a note at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
